Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective: September 9, 2026
Draft notice: starting template, not yet reviewed by a lawyer. Have it reviewed by counsel before this governs real paying customers, especially once billing moves out of Stripe test mode or changes payment processor.
1. Overview
This policy covers cancelling a FabPulse subscription and requesting a refund, and supplements (doesn't replace) the billing terms in our Terms of Service. It applies to Pro and Team plans billed through our payment processor; Enterprise customers are governed by their signed agreement where one exists.
2. Cancelling Your Subscription
Cancel anytime from your account's billing portal (My Account → Manage Billing). There's no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access to your plan's features until then, after which your account reverts to the Free tier rather than being deleted.
3. Refunds
Payments are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused time after cancelling mid-cycle, or simply changing your mind. We don't currently offer a free trial, so subscribing is an active choice to start a paid period.
We'll issue a refund when:
- You were charged due to a billing error on our part (e.g. double-charged, or charged after a cancellation we failed to process)
- Law in your jurisdiction requires it
- We discontinue a paid feature or the Service itself shortly after you were charged for it
Outside of those cases, refund requests are reviewed case-by-case at our discretion — email us within 14 days of the charge and explain what happened.
4. Plan Changes
Upgrading takes effect immediately, and the new period is prorated by our payment processor. Downgrading (including to Free) takes effect at the end of your current billing period, the same as cancellation — you keep your current plan's access until then and aren't charged again at the lower tier's rate for time already paid at the higher one.
5. Failed Payments
If a renewal payment fails, our payment processor retries it automatically over the following days. If it continues to fail, your account is downgraded to the Free tier — you won't be charged further, and no action is needed on your end to stop billing once a card has expired or been declined.
6. Your Data After Cancellation
Cancelling or downgrading doesn't delete your account — your watched projects and alert preferences are kept, and Free tier limits simply apply going forward. To delete your account and data entirely, contact us at hello@getfabpulse.com.
7. Contact
Questions about a charge, or a refund request: email hello@getfabpulse.com with your account email and, if possible, the charge date. This policy is issued by Cleviorr Infotech Private Limited.
